Originally born in South Africa of Portuguese heritage. He loves the outdoors, the beach and hiking, riding dirt bikes, cycling and travel.

Donny started driving at the early age of 14 years helping his father drive a forklift and small motor bike as well as his brothers mini. 😮 He continued to get various driving licences as he become of age.

With all of that driving experience under his belt, it is no surprise he started working with Integrity Coach Lines in April 2021 and he recently celebrated driving his first 100,000 kilometres as an ICL driver!

We ask Donny what an average run is like for him;

An average run begins with a prestart in the depot checking the coach, packing my gear and looking over the manifest.  We leave the yard and commence with our first pick up point in Midland then Perth.  From there, we continue our journey through to Broome up the North coastal route.

The route is a 4 day turn around arriving back in Perth after clocking up well over 5000kms per service.

My Favourite part of the job is meeting new interesting people on every trip and dealing with our regular client base.

No one trip is the same and always has its challenges, however the vast open road and beauty of the sunrises and sunsets is relaxing along the way.

Experiencing the sunset and camel rides on cable beach has been a great memory during our break in Broome.
