G'day,

We hope you are all well and planning your trips.  Are you in Broome (or at any of the  lovely north west towns) and planning to head south to see the Giants in Mandurah? Or in Perth and heading north to see the humpback whales, potshot canyon, dolphins, coral, Cable Beach, Carnarvon Space Museum or any of the other wonderful things you can see and do in places along our route? Whichever direction you are heading, we can assist.  Customer service to our passengers is always a key priority.

Our drivers, reservation team and workshop staff all do their best at all times to ensure all passengers have a good trip - this has been acknowledged as we are now finalists in the 'Customer Service' category of the Community Achievement Awards for Regional Western Australia!

We are very excited as we are also finalists in the "Tourism & Transport Operators" category of the WA Tourism awards.

Further, we won the "Best in Tourism and Hospitality" section in the Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce Business Awards!

Hope we don't sound like we are bragging, however we are very proud of the efforts of all our staff.  We, also thank all our passengers for their patronage, without you, we wouldn't have a successful business.  Thank you.

If you do need assistance with your booking or itinerary then please give us a call on 08 9274 7464.  Or if you are on the bus and need assistance with any of the bus features or ideas of what to see and do at your destination then have a chat with our drivers at one of the comfort stops during your journey.

With an average temperature of 26'C, Carnarvon can be up to 10 degrees cooler than Exmouth in summer and 10 degrees warmer than Perth in winter.

January - April is turtle nesting and hatching season. Kite surfing and coral spawning are also popular events and also when the manta rays visit. Whale sharks are entering the area so keep a watchful eye.

May - August the Humbacks are migrating through and the Whale sharks are leaving the area. Surfing throughout these months is optimal. Manta rays are abundant and make for beautiful underwater photography subjects.

September - December sees the end to the Humpback migration and turtle nesting begin again. It's a prime time for kite and wind surfing .

Any time of the year is a good time to snorkel, swim and beach fish!

There is never a bored moment with so much to see and do.  Actually, you will have to ensure you make enough time to fit it all in! Here are a couple of places to add onto your itinerary when in Carnarvon;

One Mile Jetty Interpretive Centre – Built in 1897, One Mile Jetty is currently closed to visitors due to damage created by cyclone Seroja, however visit the Interpretive Centre.  Open daily from 9am to 4pm in April to October with shortened opening times from November to March. Enter Sunsets Café to gain entry into the One Mile Jetty Interpretative Centre.

Close to the One Mile Jetty, in the Heritage Precinct you will find the Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage Museum. Free to enter and displaying pieces that date back to the 1900’s, the Museum is a wonderful way to learn about Carnarvon’s history and how life was lived at the turn of the last century. A display covering Carnarvon tales about whaling, pastoral farming and livestock and Indigenous culture. It’s a captivating way to explore the heritage-packed region.

The Heritage Precinct takes you back in time and offers visual wonderment with local, original Aboriginal artwork, colonial objects and photographs as well as a large projection wall showing old pictures of the jetty.

Open every Saturday from May to October, the local Weekly Farmer’s Market has great produce such bananas, mangoes and locally grown organic vegetables. Wander around with a delicious homemade ice cream and look at the locally made items or stop to listen to local buskers.  The markets operate directly outside of the Carnarvon Visitor Centre.

High Street is known for its character where even on a short walk, you will find delightful cafes, charming heritage buildings and wonderful shop front displays.

Carnarvons' Space and Technology Museum is the highlight of many visitors to Carnarvon.
The museum elevates the little known history about the role Carnarvon played in the manned space program and in the Australian communications industry.

The museum focusses on two parts. The Carnarvon Tracking Station and the OTC Satellite Earth Station, each of which played separate roles in the early space industry.
