With so many people planning travel, it's been exciting to hear different passengers ideas of a holiday. Some want the relaxing, laid back style, while others want to get out and see and do everything possible at each location. Some are visiting locations to see family or friends and other's travel for events, festivals or conferences.

This month we were really excited to have two backpackers, Cait & Jesse, on the coach who were willing to share their trip with us by uploading a daily post on facebook. They managed to go to a lot places and do heaps of sightseeing and activities in 17 days. They visited Jurien Bay, Kalbarri, Shark Bay, Exmouth, Karratha and Broome. They've been on different types of tours from walking, horses, quads, skydiving, star gazing to snorkelling and viewed the Pink Lake, Kalbarri Coastal Cliffs, Shell Beach, dinosaur footprints, art gallery, Red Dog, Indigenous Rock Art, Whales Sharks and so much more. KALBARRI

One of the places that Cait & Jesse visited was Kalbarri, they loved it and were sad to go. Kalbarri was a friendly place where they stayed at the Kalbarri YHA, did a couple of tours to see the Pink Lake and Coastal Cliffs during the day and star gazing at the skywalk in the evening. There are so many other things in Kalbarri like the gorges, canoeing, swimming, fishing, walks, mini-golf, eating out, quad bikes, boat rides, scenic flights, lobster tours etc. There's something to suit everyone!

Getting There

Integrity Coach Lines travel to and from the Ajana turnoff 3 times a week heading north and 3 times a week heading south. From the Ajana turnoff the Kalbarri Shuttle takes you to your accommodation in Kalbarri or back out. D'Guy Charters operates the shuttle service and meets our coachso there is no wait time between services. Pre-booking is necessary. The Kalbarri Shuttle can be booked by phoning or emailing them, details are on their webpage. Yes, they do the star gazing and other tours too.

The Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days is an agricultural expo located in the Central Wheatbelt of Western Australia. The event has continually expanded over the past 55 years to become the largest and most successful event of its kind in the state. With approx 700 exhibitors, there's something for everyone.
